First blog

We decided it might be fun to set up a family blog and keep each other a little more connected to the daily happenings in our lives.

Wednesday we got back from our Colorado vacation and a stomach bug began working its way through the house. Bridget, Emma, Jim and I have so far been hit and we are hoping Rachael and Megan will be spared.

Bridget had her 18 month doctor appoinment on Friday. She received a clean bill of health and is delevoping normally. She now weighs 25lbs, so her growth curve has leveled off. She is still chubby and doesn't feel that far from her days topping the growth chart, but she is now only in the 50% tile. She is taking the same track her 3 big sisters did.

Also on Friday Emma had an appointment. She went into the orthodontist and got braces. She will keep her top and bottom expander in for a while longer and now they have put on braces on the front 4 top teeth. Jim was a great support for her as he too has experienced the pain of braces. Emma is taking it in stride and is adjusting to eating with her back teeth so her braced teeth don't hurt so much. They let her pick colors for her braces and she decided on blue and teal. Jim said it took her a long time to decide.

  2. Gramma likes blue and teal, too. Sorry you got the bug. We are healthy, so the bug must been on the plane. Emma's eyes look tired. I am writing on PawPaw's because I still haven't gotten on with my email, etc. It is my ow fault. By the way which Jauquet family made a comment, or was it off their blog. Always something new to learn.

  4. If it published my first comment, it was blank. This my first real one under my own self. Hello. How will I ever keep this and emails straight?! Well, if that is the worst problem I have-not so bad.
If everyone that reads this blog and my comment, would please pray for my Mom-GG Gerry, that she has a peaceful time letting go of this life and entering eternity. She was so happy to have seen Jim and family when they visited. The girls drawings decorate her room. Thanks to Jim, Liz and each of the girls for their thoughtfulness and gentleness when they were here visiting. I'm sure that time is part of the wonderful memories that are traveling with her now.
You MD Kehrmans are special. LOVE
