I had expected to be back to work Monday after 2 great weeks off, but Rachael came down with the stomach bug Sunday night. Luckily after a few middle of the night episodes she is doing better, but of course not well enough to send to Becky's on Monday. Becky is in her third trimester and was happy for the extra day off of child care. I did log into my work email to begin going through the almost 200 emails waiting for me.
On Monday Becky usually takes the girls to a Baltimore county sponsored toddler's time at the park. I know that all of the girl's enjoy it so Becky did pick up the 3 healthy ones so they could go. Emma went to help out. Emma is really good at getting Bridget and Sarah into their car seats and buckled. That it too hard to do with a pregnant belly. Becky and Erik are having a boy. Becky mentioned that they put up a pool (3 1/2 feet deep and 15 foot diameter) and the girls were disappointed that they didn't get to try it out yet. Wednesday should be another hot one and they can use it then.
My Dad is coming over to watch the big girls and their huge blanket fort while Bridget and Sarah sleep, so I can go to St. Marks to be trained as a leader for Children's Liturgy. I figure that we are there each 9 AM Mass and our children take advantage of the program so it would be good to volunteer.
Jim is getting back in the swing of things at work. He found out upon his return that his manager was laid off. His office has also moved locations in their building so he is getting comfortable at his new desk. Tonight he begins racquetball again.
