Little Flowers Mother Daughter Tea
Little Flowers hosted a beautiful Mother Daughter Tea Party in April. They laid out the linens and china and everyone brought foods to share. Each person also volunteered in some way. Bridget and I volunteered to make a center piece based on one of the saint and Bridget chose Saint Joan of Arc whose flower theme was the carnation and whose virtue was Obedience.
She and I had a fun time picking up cut flowers at the store and making the arrangement. We printed small cards with information and we added a prayer card. Bridget proudly carried the arrangement into the Gathering Space at OLV. The OLV pastor was happy to let us use the space.
Tea was poured and tasted. Bridget added a good bit of sugar and milk before she would drink it. The food looked and tasted great. We also got a few minutes to go off together and sit in the grass, where I got to share a letter that I wrote to her. It was a wonderful day with my Bridget.
